Global Perspective

 

Lion Patti's insights into the power and potential of our association has been influenced by her work in many areas:

 

Locally - Work with the homeless in the inner city of Edmonton, as well as the youth in local schools has brought Lion Patti a perspective on poverty, literacy, the need for opportunities among our young people, and the disadvantaged to learn to help themselves, given a helping hand.  Dr. Hill's work with the Ministries of Health, Education, and Human Services has expanded her commitment to collabortive solutions that respect diversity.

 

Internationally - Patti has served alongside Lions from all constitutational areas on global committees for Long Range Planning, Lions Quest, and the Women's Initiative. Her travels for Lions Service have taken her to Europe, the Caribbean, ISAAME, OSEAL, ANZI, the USA and Canada.

 

Beyond Lionism - Patti and Greg are involved in local community service and contribute to the needs of an orphanage and village in Chitwan, Nepal.
